To provide
you with as many opportunities as possible to
meet a suitable partner in a relaxed and friendly
environment.
Professional
Before attending a dinner all potential members
are interviewed for just under an hour by Brian
at our office in Ashburton. There is a one-page
application form to be filled out and we discuss
your interests, background and what you want
to achieve from joining Tablemates.
From this
meeting Brian will ascertain the people to place
you with for your first dinner. For security
purposes you will need to provide an Australian
drivers licence or a valid passport before joining.
Personal
Each dinner is carefully developed with a view of creating options for everyone on the night. About a week before the dinner takes place, Brian sends out an email checking your availability for the following Friday and Saturday. Once the dinner is finalised, he then chooses the most appropriate restaurant based on the group’s individual cuisine preferences, geographical location and earlier dining experiences.
Typically
contact numbers to follow-up with someone are
swapped via Tablemates after the evening. This
promotes a friendly and relaxed atmosphere on
the night and gives you time to reflect on your
options. Furthermore, this approach means we
can review diners’ general enjoyment of
the nights and specifically with whom there
was interest shown.
Progressive
Our operations are fully computerised and a
specific program has been written for Tablemates
to help determine the best available dinner
options. We actively encourage feedback from
all diners and as such are able to maintain
an updated profile on everyone. Evaluation is
carried out by email, fax or phone and via Reply
Paid Post.
The restaurants
are an important part of our service and we
have developed invaluable relationships with
them over our 14 years of operation. If necessary
we provide them with your feedback on their
food and service.
